Child Safety Standards

MatchGen Luv is a social and dating application intended exclusively for adults aged 18 and older. We are committed to the safety and protection of children and maintaining a platform free from child sexual abuse and exploitation (CSAE).

1. Age Requirement

MatchGen Luv requires all users to be at least 18 years of age to register and use the app. Users are asked to confirm their age during registration, and accounts that are found to belong to minors are permanently removed.

2. Zero Tolerance Policy

MatchGen Luv maintains a strict zero-tolerance policy toward child sexual abuse material (CSAM) and any form of child sexual abuse or exploitation (CSAE). This includes:

• The sharing, distribution, or possession of CSAM in any form.
• Grooming, solicitation, or exploitation of minors.
• Any content or behaviour that sexualises minors.

Any user found violating this policy will be immediately and permanently banned from the platform.

3. Content Moderation

We employ the following measures to detect and prevent harmful content:

• Automated moderation: Automated systems scan posts, group content, and messages for prohibited keywords, contact information, and CSAE-related content.
• User reporting: All users can report any profile, post, message, or group directly within the app. Reports are reviewed promptly.
• Human review: Flagged content is reviewed by our moderation team. Confirmed violations result in immediate account suspension or permanent ban.

4. Reporting to Authorities

MatchGen Luv complies with all applicable laws regarding the reporting of CSAM and CSAE. Where we identify or receive reports of CSAM, we will:

• Immediately remove the content and suspend the relevant account.
• Report the incident to the relevant regional and national authorities, including the South African Police Service (SAPS) and the Film and Publication Board (FPB) where applicable.
• Cooperate fully with law enforcement investigations.

5. In-App Reporting

Users can report child safety concerns at any time through the app by tapping the report option on any profile, post, message, or group. Reports are reviewed by our moderation team as a priority.
